SIGNE (SIG) LINNEA STROM Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, Signe passed away at the age of 82. Signe is survived by her sister Edna Ward and was predeceased by her parents, Lars and Julia Strom, six brothers and two sisters. She also touched the hearts and lives of many of her nieces and nephews and their families. Signe worked for many years at the Eatons Mail Order Service, till its closing, and then the provincial government for 10 years, up until her retirement. She will always be remembered for her generosity, her kind and warm nature towards children and animals, and her clever sense of humour. She loved to play bingo, and bowl, knit and spend time at the Big Whiteshell Lake. For all of those who knew and loved Sig, she will always be remembered as our "Auntie". Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Calvary Place, where they always provided Signe with love and great comfort. Cremation has taken place, followed by a private family service at Chapel Lawn.
